TFE contributes to Rocket 5

The latest issue of Rocket 5 published by The OTC space will feature an article by the TFE team. Focusing on the race to build a new collateral market infrastructure, we look at timelines and some of the vendors emerging pre-September 2016. As Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS) are still pending, there is likely to be a slight delay but our advice is to define a roadmap which which will allow you to clear the smaller collateral speed-bump in 2016 with a whether eye on the more disruptive bump due in 2017.

There is no ‘one best way’ to approach bilateral margin requirements. Each firm must interrogate their vision for collateral management and find a balance between in-house/outsourcing whilst also reacting to market decisions made by other firms.
